Interesting to know:
The sinter mixture used by Brembo consists of metal particles mixed with lubricants and abrasives, which are then fused together under pressure and at very high temperatures. In the sintering process, this mixture is fixed to a backing plate of the required shape without the use of adhesives. The metal particles determine the brake pad's coefficient of friction, while the lubricants are important for braking stability. The abrasives keep the brake discs clean. The sinter mix is individually formulated for the front and rear brake respectively to ensure extremely efficient braking under all service conditions.
