Detlev Louis was a passionate racing driver and motorcyclist – he wanted to share this passion with as many people as possible: he repaired and imported motorbikes. In doing so, he enabled many people to own their own motorbikes. Detlev Louis was the first to make the passion of motorcycling accessible to many people at a time when only a few could afford it.
