ABUS U-LOCK ART4 SUPEREXTREME 2500
uring the development of the GRANIT™ Super Extreme 2500, great attention was paid to the best possible resistance to attacks with electric cordless angle grinders, as this type of attempt to break into motorcycle locks is increasingly being observed in large cities. The special tungsten carbide material mixture around the lock shackle and body is the answer to this phenomenon and makes it extra difficult for thieves. The shackle, housing and load-bearing parts of the lock are made of hardened steel.
The extremely robust “Made in Germany” quality U-lock thus secures bicycles against brutal theft attempts. With the ABUS XPlus™ cylinder, it offers additional protection against clever break-in methods such as picking.
The large locking range of the shackle makes it quick and easy to find numerous ways to lock it. But thieves have a hard time with this robust motorcycle lock: even the battery-powered cut-off grinder bites on granite here.
