Standard batteries have to be filled with battery acid before they are used for the first time, and then need occasional topping up with distilled water. And what's the best thing to use for topping up liquids? Clearly not a funnel from the kitchen. That's only going to get you into trouble. Much better, if you don't want to be shouted at, is to use the Louis Battery Acid Funnel.
It's a perfect fit for motorcycle batteries. The integrated venting channels, made of acid- and oil-resistant plastic, are also very good. So, of course, this funnel is suitable for oil, brake fluid, battery acid etc.
