BELL CUSTOM 500 SE SZ.L RSD GLOSS CHECK IT
This is a great-grandchild of the original jet (open-face) helmet from Bell, first launched back in 1954. While its ancestor was christened "500" by its creator Roy Richter, also the founder of Bell, the new model launched more than 60 years later goes by the impressive name of "Custom 500". And this version also carries the letters "SE" (Special Edition). The family resemblance is unmistakable.
But the new Bell is more than just an upgrade. A lot more. It's an evolution. The interior has been transformed from the earlier padded version into an EPS inner shell with varying density. In other words, the original helmet shape is now equipped with state-of-the-art protection technology. What's more, with 5 different shell sizes, the Custom 500 Carbon now covers just about any head size and circumference perfectly. So the helmet is a closer fit, which means it not only looks better, it feels better too.

- NOT RETRO, ORIGINAL -
Established in California in 1954, BELL Helmets boast a virtually unrivalled history. Essentially, no other helmet shape, whether jet (open-face) or full-face, has been copied as often as the original BELL helmets of the 60s and 70s. So it's little wonder that this famous helmet has been the preferred choice of some equally famous names: Film star Steve McQueen, Salt Flats speed record legend Burt Munro and, of course, the man who suffered 433 bone fractures: Evel Knievel. They all wore the BELL logo on their helmets.
