Daytona SL Pilot GTX boot
"Have you gotten taller?" Don't be surprised if your fellow bikers suddenly wonder if you've taken a stretch. This is probably down to the *Daytona SL Pilot GTX*, and the reason why you have shot up roughly 6 cm is cleverly hidden. All of a sudden you can put both feet fully on the ground when sitting on the motorcycle. This gives you so much more stability at the traffic lights or when getting on or off. A dream come true!
Of course with the Daytona *SL Pilot GTX* it goes without saying that you get the comfort features as well, such as the GORE-TEX climate membrane and individual calf width adjustment. That's a Daytona motorcycle boot through and through.

Good to know:
Your breathable shoes are wind and waterproof. However, the boots are only breathable if you are wearing technical socks. Cotton socks absorb moisture, whereas technical socks draw sweat and moisture away from the foot initially into the shoe. The breathable shoe membrane then transports the moisture completely out of the shoe. Breathability is thus ensured.

Most traditional, high-quality outer material with cult status for motorcycle clothing and accessories. Unmistakable in its natural, high-quality look, the strong image, ideally suited to both figure-hugging and highly functional designs. The biker's "second skin" still has the edge over any textile material when it comes to safety and resistance to abrasion and tearing. The way the material stretches as the clothing is worn means that leather clothing adapts to the body contours ideally, thus also guaranteeing that protectors fit optimally. Leather clothing should therefore always be bought with a close fit. Impregnation, leather oil and surface coatings guarantee good weather protection and a degree of rainproofing, but unfortunately also limit the breathability. Relatively heavy, but enthusiasts value this as a "quality feature". Looked after properly, it is very durable. Because leather does not itself offer much thermal insulation, the other features of the garment, or the base layers of clothing, must provide some help here.
