The Tread® motorcycle and off-road navigator is the big brother of the zūmo® XT and also offers the newly developed trail navigation, more map material, vehicle profiles and the new Garmin Tread® app - for route planning and smart features. Inside the rugged housing is an ultra-bright 5.5-inch HD display optimized for gloves and rain. In addition to the handlebar mounting kit, an additional one for tubes is included, a Group Ride Tracker module and colored interchangeable frames.

DISPLAY AND HOUSING
The Tread® is shock and temperature resistant to military standard MIL-STD-810 and meets IPX7 rating. The 5.5-inch (14cm) HD touch display has a brightness of ~1,000 nits and is optimized for operation with gloves and in the rain.

MAPS AND POIS
The Tread® has preloaded street and terrain maps for Europe, Africa (including Tracks4Africa) and the Middle East. Additionally, maps for North/South America, as well as Australia and New Zealand are available for download via Garmin Express, as well as worldwide BirdsEye satellite imagery via WLAN. The extensive POI database includes recommendations from TripAdvisor®, as well as iOverlander™ - for remote and hard-to-find campsites.

TRAIL NAVIGATION AND VEHICLE PROFILES
With the Tread®, it doesn't matter if you're riding your motorcycle on-road or off-road. Turn-by-turn trail navigation, with audio prompts, guides you to your destination even on trails and dirt roads. The Tread® calculates the appropriate route based on the selected profile and stored vehicle configuration. In addition to the vehicle type motorcycle, small off-road vehicles, side-by-side vehicles, cars and snowmobiles are also available.

TREAD APP
The Tread App extends the features of the Tread® with Smart Notifications, Garmin real-time services such as traffic info and weather, synchronization of data between connected devices and applications, import and export of routes in GPX format, up to Group Ride for smartphones. For route planning, the same maps, vehicle profiles and route preferences are available in the app as on the Tread®. So planning routes, waypoints and tracks is possible anytime, anywhere.

ADVENTUROUS ROUTING AND TOURING FEATURES
For pure riding fun, the Tread® features Adventurous Routing™. Determine the intensity of curves, mountains and dirt roads when calculating your route by motorcycle. For off-road vehicles, information such as ground clearance and drive is also used to offer suitable routes off the road. In addition, the TracBack and round trip planning functions are available, which are especially popular with motorcyclists.

GROUP RIDE TRACKER
The Group Ride Tracker allows you to share your position, track your route and send predefined messages in groups of up to 20 riders. This way you always stay in touch with your group.

OFF-ROAD FEATURES AND TRACK RECORDING
The Tread®'s adventure features include inReach® compatibility, integrated ABC sensors, longitudinal and lateral grade indicators and more. Track recording is especially handy, allowing you to record your ridden routes and adventures for later use, editing and sharing with others.

MORE INFORMATION
The Tread® also features Wi-Fi for quick and easy updates, a music player and music player control, pairs with compatible Garmin wireless cameras, as well as Garmin PowerSwitch for controlling connected electronics, and has a battery life of up to 6 hours, or 3.5 hours at 100% display brightness.
