Flasher unit for load equalisation when fitting aftermarket LED turn signals on Harley-Davidson models with self-cancelling turn signal system 1991-today (without CAN bus).
(V-Rod 2002 up to today, Sportster up to 2013, Dyna up to 2011, Softail up to 2010, Touring up to 2013)
The flasher unit is a universal resistor for all LED turn signals, which ensures a normal, load-independent flashing frequency. As it works independently of the
current, it eliminates the need to use additional resistors, thus saving
a lot of work and a tangle of wires.
- For connecting multiple turn signals (up to 4) on models without CAN-bus or a pair of turn signals
on CAN-bus motorcycles.
- We recommend installation on the frame, especially for continuous operation (e.g. hazard warning lights) because the resistor generates heat.
