The new anti-pollution mask from R-Pur was developed by a recently established company in Paris. Makes sense! After all, the French capital is infamous for its huge traffic snarl-ups every day during the rush hour.
And that's what it's all about: The mask features a patented system for trapping the finest dust particles, and uses activated carbon to filter out harmful emissions from the air you breathe. What's more, it does this ten times more efficiently than is prescribed by the strictest European standard (FFP3).
The developers also gave a lot of thought to ergonomics, wearing comfort and preventing heat build-up. The exhaled air escapes via a separate outlet valve, which prevents any build-up of heat or moisture. At the same time, the air is channelled downwards to prevent your helmet visor from misting up. And the air throughput is even good enough for jogging.
